Welcome to my little newsletter again I hope. What makes the July 4th FIRECRACKER a great show?? Could it be that we give away most of the money to charity or someone in need?? Not all clubs can say they do the same. I heard of one club that took there members on vacation with theres. We will always be a poor club and in need, we like it that way.
Could it be the dashplaques made to look just like a pack of firecrackers, and changes every year?? Could it be the special awards that we mail out to everyone with their car or their car and them in it?? What ever the reason WELCOME TO THE SHOW!!!!

The new show season is upon us again. There seems to be a tread with less shows for us to pick from. High gas prices have us looking even more a the close shows in order to save at the pump, which means $$$. I could go on forever on the prices we have to pay, Use to be the most expensive thing was the entrance fee.... not any more!!
Got a show that I don't have listed?? Scan it and send it to Classic Pony!! Make sure its big so I can work with it.

Ok we just had our year end meeting and 2007 is now in the books and yes it was a very good year with the help of Midwest coming to our 4th of July show this year. We also talked about the Indoor Show in Jan. and have to have 40 pre-registered by Jan. 10th. If not the show will go in the books as another disappointment, and we will never try to have one in the winter again. I think its a great idea. Pre-register and save $5 if I would not want to drive my car to the show.... We would have it NEXT week or even the week after..... Watch the Cruise Calendar marquee for any and all updates to see if this show is on or off.
We were very disappointed with the numbers of cars (18 total) at our cruise-ins this year. So we have switched the day and time. Now we are going for the last SUNDAY in April & The Last SUNDAY in September. We will start at NOON and ENDING at 4pm again at the Village Square Mall.

Gas is still hovering around the $3 price tag, the summer is almost gone again. We had a great time again this year, showing, visiting, making new friends. Of course seeing my Ol' Friends again..
On to business. Oct 13th Is the Classic Pony Car Club Final Cruise-In for 2007 @The Village Square Mall in Effingham, IL We have 11total 3 post trophies for the first 20 get dashplaques. Awards go to the TOP 10 and Faa Cruiser ALL CARS ARE WELCOME!! The Poker Run will be done there on foot due to the high prices of gas. Winner of the Poker Run is a $$CASH$$ Prize.
Again I will try to be the DJ for this event :) With our NEW sound system!!
WoW the prices we pay just to keep something fun today is....!@#$%^ Stupid.
Lets talk shows.... OK I hate participants shows period! I will always let a judged show rule out that type show as of when I'm going this weekend. Why do I hate that kind of a show?? It's just a popularity contest I have seen this to many times.
Better get out of here time is growing short again for all of us.

Ok it's been awhile getting to this point of doing a newsletter again. I could jump on my stump and start whining about $3+ gas, how it's just KILLING US a gallon at a time. How it's making fewer shows. But I won't jump up on that stump, cause you think I will. Higher prices everywhere around us due to the cost of fuel. They say it's caused by a shortage, or so they say shortage, Hummm no one seems to be in line waiting to get fuel. Why there seems to be as much as you want, (if you have the money) but hey I won't whine about it cause I don't have to..... YOUR THE ONE PAYING though the nose at the pump, making everyone around you do with less, and less, and less......

We have moved ISP's. We went from the east coast to the west coast. We were down very little by doing this. I have hopes that the new provider will be online more then the last one. They seem to have a better customer service then the last one did. I have the Classic Car Discussion Board ready to go. Everyone will have to fill out the log on again :( Sorry Guys!! Any suggestions or ideas just send them my way.
