MisAdventures in RESTORING MY MUSTANG

PAGE 2

Now that I have my 65 back from Mustang Corral, its time to get back to working on this Stang! Where do I start?? Well lets get those brakes fixed! Get the engine running! Check out that tranny, an see what else Goes wrong along the way! After a couple of months,  new brakes, new carb, oh hell! a whole new front-end job to fix that steering problem, an work on that power steering pump. Seems I still had lots of little problems that I am having to deal with  :(  Slowly but surely they all got fixed. So while waiting on parts an $$$ to do it with, lets start on the interior.!

Wowzers! That looks a lot better with that White headliner & red interior!  YES! It's the finished-Dash! With a new RED steering wheel an dashpad.

Not bad eh? Going from a Blue interior to a RED with a white headliner, painting the dash, putting on a new RED steering wheel, carpet, seats, kick panels, an speakers!   Got to have good speakers for those 60's tunes!

The Red seats came out of the wrecked car an with the new carpet it was looking factory new again!

Now we are starting to look factory new on the inside anyways!  I sent off my AM radio ( didn't work ) to a guy that calls himself   "RadioMan" in Dallas TX who puts all new electronics in old car radios. He converted my original radio to AM-FM- CD! You can't tell its ever been touched! It still looks original.  With 44 watts, boy does it sound good now! Oh FYI the CD player is in the trunk, an its wired direct to the new amp inside of the old radio case.

Remember THINGS DON'T ALWAYS GOES AS PLANNED!
